RF3 A Novel Synergistic Antioxidant Blend for Environmental Stress Protection and Inflammaging Prevention:

The in-house team demonstrated that one specific permutation, a combination of three different molecules, each targeting different biological mechanisms associated with mitigating the effects of reactive oxygen species, provided additional downstream benefits by mitigating biomarkers inflammaging (inflammation-induced ageing), photoaging, and hyperpigmentation caused by environmental ozone.
The findings support the notion that a multi-mechanistic antioxidant complex can synergistically alleviate environmentally-induced skin damage and provide superior safety when used in skin care formulations.
A Multitargeted Approach to Soothing Irritated Skin: Using their effective Multi-Med Therapy approach, Rodan + Fields evaluated RF Botanical Soothing Blend, a new botanical and Vitamin E blend, for its ability to mitigate intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cultured human dermal fibroblasts caused by ultraviolet radiation and pollution (urban dust, UD), as well as downstream effects.
